Goldwood Cinema was founded by writer-director Johnny Olvera, whose approach combines creative vision with the discipline, preparation, and practical awareness required to bring ambitious stories to the screen.
With more than 30 years of experience as a SAG-AFTRA actor and 12 years working in script supervision, Olvera develops projects from both sides of production: protecting the emotional life of the story while understanding how every creative decision affects performance, continuity, schedule, coverage, and the finished film.
He wrote and directed THE WARREN, a feature-length neo-noir mystery produced for $3,200 across more than 30 locations in three principal photography days. The film was released to streaming audiences and named an Official Nominee at the SAG-AFTRA American Scene Awards.
